Job summary

Responsibilities

• Report defective or burned-out resident call lights and lighting to supervisor.
• Clean furnishings, fixtures, rooms, and common areas.
• Sanitize bathrooms and polish fixtures.
• Clean windows, drapes, curtains, and mirrors.
• Vacuum carpets, deodorize, and disinfect.
• Sweep and mop floors; strip, wax, and buff as needed.
• Clean walls and ceilings; remove marks and dust.
• Maintain safe work areas and proper storage of supplies and tools.
• Dispose of waste into appropriate containers and re-line receptacles.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions and fire safety policies.
• Ensure assigned areas and equipment are properly stored before breaks and end of day.
• Report lost and found items to supervisor.
