Job summary

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of supplies, equipment, ordering process.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.
• 3 to 5 years Maintenance experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison for new construction projects, coordinates with vendors and assists with designs and shutdowns.
• Maintains PM schedule with prescribed checklist and ensures timely completion; communicates downtime.
• Maintains patient environment of care and ensures room meets checklist requirements.
• Performs interior maintenance: bulbs, ballasts, switches, outlets, plumbing, nurse call repairs, painting.
• Maintains logs, shift reports, work orders, and online data entry; communicates changes.
• Responds to emergencies; arrives promptly with proper equipment.
• Requisitions parts/equipment; maintains on-site inventory.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment under OSHA standards and PPE.
• Maintains Joint Commission and State documentation; responds to calls as required.
• Keeps Joint Commission Part 4 Log Book compliant.
