Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and administer activities related to Member Management Programs.
• Communicate effectively with members of the healthcare delivery system and group representatives.
• Conduct individual member assessments and coordinate case management activities.
• Evaluate member needs and develop alternative treatment plans to maximize contract benefits and ensure quality care.
• Interpret and communicate information orally and in writing with internal and external staff.
• Analyze information and make informed decisions independently and autonomously.
• Present information in formal and informal settings (preferred).
• Utilize negotiation skills in member management activities (preferred).
• Work a flexible schedule to provide telephone coverage as needed.
• Travel up to 10% of the time to fulfill responsibilities.
• Maintain licensure and participate in ongoing education.
• Collaborate with providers, subscribers, and group representatives to support health and wellness services.

Contract Duration: 6 Months Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree

• State of Alabama licensure as a Registered Nurse OR Multi-State licensure as a Registered Nurse (Compact)
