Job summary

Ascendo-Resources is seeking a Care Coordinator in Akron, OH to oversee non-medical home care services, supervise caregivers, and ensure quality and compliance. You will coordinate staffing, schedule timely coverage, and liaise with clients and office staff to maintain service standards.

This on-site, full-time role offers a competitive $60,000–$65,000 yearly compensation, with a Monday-Friday schedule and 8:30 AM–5:00 PM hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years in home care or healthcare ops preferred.
• Knowledge of non-medical home care services and caregiver roles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support caregivers to ensure policy and care standards compliance.
• Coordinate caregiver schedules and match to client needs and preferences.
• Manage on-call coverage, onboarding priorities, and staffing communications.
• Maintain supervisory documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with staff and leadership and contribute to process improvements.
