Gallagher is seeking a VRC Care Coordinator to support day-to-day operations and member interactions at our San Diego satellite office. The role involves handling high volumes of calls, updating demographics, and ensuring all forms and waivers are up to date.

You will verify identities, assist with registrations, and coordinate appointments and events while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and delivering high-quality customer service onsite.

Overview

The VRC Care Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day VRC operations by performing administrative tasks, responding to inquiries and resolving concerns ensuring high quality member service. This team member will optimally support the member interactions from start to finish, which may include identification verification; updating or confirming demographic information, ensuring all forms and waivers are up to date, and answering a high volume of calls. This role is budgeted at $50k and requires the ability to work on site 5x a week within 50 miles radius of San Diego Satellite office.

• Schedule and coordinate member appointments, meetings, classes, consults, and department communication as needed
• Providing a proactive approach to customer service by listening to the member, taking ownership of solutions and elevate issues as appropriate to resolve concerns
• Day of event support by checking in members, event set-up, event breakdown, and group rotations
• Provides high quality service to a variety of members over the telephone, email and in-person encompassing both verbal and written communication
• Assist members in database registration, completion of initial paperwork including consent/release forms, resource referrals
• Prioritized assigned projects ensuring deadlines are met
• Actively supervises the use of confidential member information to maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality as established under HIPAA (the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act)

About You

• High School diploma and a minimum of 1 years’ related experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills
• Medical/well-being office experience with a strong emphasis in customer service, computer skills and phones
