Job summary

Community Service Board of Middle Georgia is hiring Care Coordinators to support youth with SED and emerging adults with mental illness. The role operates with a 10:1 ratio and requires a BA/BS in social work, psychology or a related field and at least two years of clinical intervention experience.

Supervision by a licensed mental health professional is provided for unlicensed staff. You will cultivate relationships across diverse communities, communicate clearly in writing and speech, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of BA/BS in social work, psychology or related field with at least two years of clinical intervention experience serving youth with SED or emerging adults with mental illness.
• Bachelor level staff and unlicensed coordinators must be supervised by a licensed mental health professional (e.g. LCSW, LPC, LMFT).
• Experience can substitute education.
• Ability to create effective relationships with individuals from diverse cultural beliefs and lifestyles.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse community.
• Ability to develop and deliver case presentations.
• Ability to analyze complex information and define and solve problems.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to partner with family service providers with lived experience.

Job description

Care Coordinators serving at a 10 individual to 1 care coordinator ratio:

• Care Coordinators must possess a minimum of B.A or B.S. degree in social work, psychology or related field with a minimum of two (2) years clinical intervention experience in serving youth with SED or emerging adults with mental illness. All Bachelor level and unlicensed care coordinators must be supervised at minimum by a licensed mental health professional (e.g. LCSW, LPC, LMFT). Experience can be substituted for education. Ability to create effective relationships with individuals of different cultural beliefs and lifestyles.
