- The pay for this position is $20.00 per hour.
- Schedule : Must be able to work any 8-hour shift between 7 : 00 AM–7 : 00 PM CST, Monday–Friday.
- Mandatory onboarding training is held from 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM CST for the first 4–6 weeks.
- 100% Remote position (must meet home internet and environment requirements).
- This position is a full-time contract opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls related to patient access and case status updates.
- Enter accurate, clear, and detailed notes into CRM while conversing with patients or healthcare staff.
- Create and process referrals and applications in internal systems.
- Guide patients through program requirements and educate them on next steps.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and empathy in every interaction.
- Support new applicants by interacting with referral sources (e.g., healthcare providers).
- Manage each patient case from intake through final determination (approval or denial).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2–4 years of customer-facing or call center experience preferred.
- Ability to multitask while speaking to patients and using software platforms.
- Must type at least 40 WPM and transcribe accurate notes in real-time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience using video conferencing tools like Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic, patient-first mindset.
- Must be an independent worker with reliable time management and attention to detail.
- Must have a quiet, private home office setup and high-speed internet (minimum 15 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload / max ping 30ms, hardwired to router).
- WiFi, satellite, or cellular internet connections are not acceptable.
- Must use surge protection with network line protection for company equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and insurance billing a plus.
- Familiarity with call center environments and CRM systems.
