Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all referrals within two business days of order submission.
• Ensure orders are completed in the EHR and linked to referrals.
• Validate continuity of care and network integrity based on service availability.
• Send documentation to referral providers and update patient records.
• Schedule and notify patients of referral appointments with necessary details.
• Obtain and follow up on required authorizations with insurance until resolution.
• Explain costs and help patients plan ahead of scheduling.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient information.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinic staff.
• Follow policies and maintain reliable attendance.
