Job summary

Qualifications

• Education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education from accredited colleges or universities is required for Federal employment.
• If using foreign education, a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency must be submitted with the transcript.

Responsibilities

• Receive, admit, schedule, and provide assistance and direction to Veterans seeking medical care.
• Serve as a fully qualified typist with excellent communication skills.
• Coordinate care and communicate with the Third-Party Administrator (TPA-Optum) during the entire process.
• Monitor and analyze data, follow VA handbooks, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
