Job summary

Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City is seeking a Regular Full-time representative to triage calls, schedule referrals, and connect patients with the right physician offices. Responsibilities

  • Triages incoming phone calls, creates referrals, and schedules appointments.
  • Connects patients to the appropriate physician office based on condition and location.
  • Manages a high volume of inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
  • Documents and closes cases in Salesforce and sends itineraries.
  • Obtains and records patient demographics and completes full registrations.
  • Schedules various appointment types and transcribes medical orders.
  • Verifies patient insurance coverage and maintains accurate records.
  • Provides exceptional customer service in all interactions.

Compensation Range

The base pay scale for this position is $32.39 - $36.04. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
