Retirement Unlimited, Inc. (RUI) is hiring a Care Companion to provide compassionate personal care and warm companionship in a resort-style senior living community in Lansdowne, VA. You’ll help residents stay engaged, support daily activities, and assist with meal/snack service per care plans.

The role emphasizes empathy, patience, and teamwork with the clinical staff, and offers habits-building training, growth opportunities, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification is a plus, but not required.
• A positive attitude and genuine love for working with people.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care support and warm companionship to residents.
• Encourage participation in community programs, activities, and social engagement.
• Offer meaningful one-on-one interaction to enhance residents’ emotional well-being.
• Assist in planning and supporting activity programs for residents.
• Prepare and serve snacks or meals according to instructions.
