Job summary

Ravenwood Specialty Care in Waterloo, IA, is seeking a Maintenance Staff member to join the facilities team. This full-time role offers 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm shifts with every 3rd Sunday, focusing on keeping the building safe, clean, and comfortable for residents.

You will monitor heating, cooling, and equipment, maintain outdoor areas, and assist with heavy cleaning and routine upkeep. We value empathetic, customer-focused individuals who help create a home-like atmosphere and support our care

Qualifications

Ability to multitask and complete assignments timely.

Responsibilities

Complete routine maintenance and repairs to keep the facility safe, clean, and comfortable.
Monitor and maintain building systems, including heating, cooling, and equipment.
Maintain outdoor areas, walkways, and grounds, including snow/ice removal as needed.
Assist with heavy cleaning, floor care, and facility upkeep when needed.
Follow safety policies and support inspections and preventative maintenance.
