Job summary

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital is seeking a Care Command Specialist to provide clerical support for the Care Command Center, including call center duties and admission requests. You will handle inpatient and registration tasks, update patient accounts and insurance information, and assist with regulatory compliance.

The role covers EVS coordination, EMS/Transport coordination, Teletracking updates, and data entry across critical databases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Associate Degree in a related field is preferred.
• 1 year health-related field experience is preferred.
• CPAR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support for the Care Command Center and call center duties.
• Assist with admission requests and patient registration processes.
• Handle inpatient, medical observation, surgical and procedural entry registrations.
• Help manage patient accounts, insurance information and regulatory updates.
• Support EVS bed cleaning coordination, central and EMS transport coordination, and Teletracking updates.
• Answer calls and enter data into critical databases, communicating with stakeholders.
