Responsibilities

• Delivers prescriptions to patients, nurses and/or family members in a secured bag at the time of discharge.
• Delivers prescriptions to MedStar employees throughout the hospital campus and collects payment.
• Verifies patient identity and provides pharmacist counseling when appropriate.
• Restocks pharmacy supplies and handles mail and deliveries as needed.
• Works with the bedside technician to ensure workflow and reconciliation of prescriptions.
