Job summary

DuPage County is seeking a reliable Housekeeper I to support our care center by cleaning hallways, restrooms, and resident rooms using established procedures. This role includes disinfecting surfaces, changing linens, and assisting with meal tray delivery with on-the-job training available.

A post-offer physical is required and a pre-employment background check will be conducted. The position supports a comprehensive benefits package and holiday/personal time accrual.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed or demonstrated relevant work experience.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Post-offer physical and pre-employment background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Clean hallways, restrooms, and resident rooms following the prescribed cleaning procedures of the department, and passing meal trays to residents.
• Disinfect surfaces, sweep, mop, polish furniture, change bed linens, empty garbage, etc.
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as assigned.
