Job summary

Genesis is seeking a detail-oriented billing professional for our long-term care facility in West Reading, PA. You will report to the Business Office Manager and manage patient/resident trust funds, explaining financial obligations during admissions and discharges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of long-term care billing and collection experience preferred. Additional coursework in accounting/finance recommended.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Business Office Manager and receive training from the Revenue Cycle Manager.
• Interact with administrators, nursing staff, leadership, families and external agencies.
• Manage patient/resident trust funds and confidential files per state and federal regulations.
• Meet with patients/residents at admission and discharge to explain financial obligations.
