Care Associate - PRN & Part-Time (7-3P & 3-11P)

In this role, you will provide assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program with activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort services, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident needs as set by the supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document assistance in daily logs.
• Report any resident issues or concerns to the supervisor.
• Respect and encourage residents' independence and dignity.
• Maintain residents’ confidentiality.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Proficiency in English to perform duties, communicate with staff, and respond to emergencies.
• Possession of a CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on the state.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and helpful.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Ability to solve practical problems and handle high-stress situations.
