Care Associate/ CNA - Memory Care (MC) (Part Time)

Do you have HEART? In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Memory Care Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide kind, caring, and consistent companionship and support to residents.
• Provide assistance, encouragement, and restorative interventions as needed to help Memory Care residents be as independent as possible in activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Participate in and lead one‑on‑one and group activities.
• Serve residents during mealtime, assist with memory care laundry, and carry out basic housekeeping within the memory care neighborhood.
• Respond to resident/family/employee concerns in a timely manner and follow up, striving to provide high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co‑workers.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors with dementia, including participation in activities.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties and communicate with supervisors and other employees, and respond to emergency situations.
• Possess a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state (may be required).
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Compassionate, kind, engaging, helpful, and able to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and adaptability in situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co‑workers.
