Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Care Associate for the 3rd shift at Evergreen Retirement Community. You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide emotional support, and document care in the daily log.

Requirements include at least one year in senior care, English proficiency, and possibly a CNA/CHHA license depending on state. Strong teamwork and compassionate service are essential.

Formación

• One year of experience in senior care or related field.
• Proficiency in English to communicate with residents and staff.

• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Provide medication reminders and escort services as needed.
• Follow the supervisor's schedule and document daily logs of assistance.
• Offer emotional and social support to residents and monitor well-being.
• Inform supervisor of any concerns or changes in resident condition.

Do you have HEART? In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.

• You have at least oneyearof experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• You may need to have a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.
• You have basic computer skills.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
