Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Care Associate - Assisted Living (AL)/CNA/FT-3rd for Addington Place of Brunswick. This on-site role provides daily living assistance to residents, including help with bathing, grooming, and mobility, with medication reminders and schedule adherence.

Teamwork and compassionate service are essential as you support residents’ independence and dignity. You will document daily care logs, communicate concerns to supervisors, and contribute to a safe, caring community.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform duties and respond to emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to multitask safely and efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Provide reminders for medications and escort services.
• Follow resident schedules as set by supervisor.

In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.

• You have at least oneyearof experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• You may need to have a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.
• You have basic computer skills.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
