Home Instead Welwyn & Hatfield is seeking kind, dependable Care Professionals to support clients in their own homes. Visits are typically at least one hour, with travelling time paid at the hourly rate.

You’ll provide companionship, meals, light household help, and personal care after training, following a flexible schedule that respects your availability. Experience is welcome but not essential; reliability and communication are key.

Care Assistant - We work with your availability - Mornings/Evenings/Week-ends.

Home Instead Welwyn & Hatfield office, is recruiting kind, dependable, local Care Assistants, known within Home Instead as Care Professionals. You will support clients in their own homes and help them remain safe, independent and connected to their community. Visits are normally for at least one hour and travelling time between consecutive clients is paid at the applicable hourly rate.

• Meal preparation, shopping and household help.
• Personal care, continence and medication support after training.

Previous care experience is welcome but not essential. Reliability, respect, communication and the ability to maintain an agreed work pattern matter most. We do not have set shifts we work with each individuals own availability, where possible, but it is mandatory on all staff that they work their agreed hours on alternate Saturdays and Sundays.

Checks and recruitment process

• Enhanced Adult DBS and two satisfactory professional references.
• Right-to-work, address, driving and insurance checks.
• UK driving licence and own car is an essential requirement as we visit people in their own homes.
