Job summary

Care Dorset Limited is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide personal care and daily support to adults in residential and other settings. You will help with personal care, domestic tasks and accurate record-keeping while upholding dignity and infection control standards.

The role is full-time, includes alternate weekends, and offers generous leave (27 days rising to 32 after 5 years), enhanced maternity pay, sick pay from day one, and access to training via Litmos plus an Employee

Responsibilities

• Undertake personal care duties as required to the relevant client group which will typically include toileting, washing and manual handling (including hoisting) and transfer.
• Undertake domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
• Support the relevant client group in a way that maintains dignity and privacy
• Participate in the maintenance of essential record keeping, through brief written recording on individual client records
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements in respect of manual handling and transfer hoisting and the use of protective equipment to aid infection control
• You would be expected to work within the Gold Standards Framework
