Looking for a Meaningful Job with Real Experience?
Whether you're looking to start a career in care, gain hands‑on experience before studying nursing, social work or other healthcare professions, or simply want a role where you can genuinely make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
At Bluebird Care Glasgow South, we believe care is about people, not just tasks.
For many of our customers, your visit will be the highlight of their day. You'll bring reassurance, companionship, independence and kindness to people who want to continue living safely in the home they love.
No previous care experience? No problem.
If you have compassion, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, we'll provide all the training and support you need to become a confident Care Assistant.
Working in home care is more than a job—it's an opportunity to build valuable life skills, gain professional care experience, and make a lasting impact on people’s lives.
Whether you're considering a long‑term career in care or looking for experience that will strengthen future applications in healthcare, this role provides excellent hands‑on experience while earning a competitive wage.
Every day is different, but every day you’ll leave work knowing you’ve made a real difference.
Sometimes the most important part of your visit isn’t completing a task—it's taking the time to listen, share a conversation and brighten someone’s day.
As you’ll be travelling between customers’ homes throughout the local community, driving is essential for this role.
The good news is you’ll be paid for your travel time between visits and receive mileage allowance, so you’re supported while you’re on the move.
The care you provide helps people remain safe, independent and happy in the place they call home.
You’ll finish each shift knowing you’ve made a genuine difference—whether that’s helping someone start their morning, sharing a laugh over a cup of tea, or simply being someone they can rely on.
If you’re looking for a rewarding role where you’ll develop valuable skills, build meaningful relationships and make a real impact every single day, we’d love to welcome you to the Bluebird Care Glasgow South team.
