Southeast Missouri Residential Services, a State of Missouri facility in Sikeston, is seeking a Support Care Assistant to provide one-on-one care for consumers. The role requires direct care duties, ADL assistance, and medication aide certification within one month.

Shifts include 7:00am–7:00pm or 7:00pm–7:00am with overtime as needed. 18+ years old, valid driver license, and GED/HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed).
• Must pass Level One Medication Aide certification within one month.
• Must pass a background screening.
• Must have a valid driver license.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on direct care to clients with observations, treatment, and monitoring.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Develop and/or implement habilitation or treatment plans.
• Teach or assist in developing client skills related to self-help, play, education, and socialization.
• Check vital signs, height, weight, and basic health care needs.
