Job summary

Pine Heights at Brattleboro Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Unit Helper trainee. This entry‑level role provides hands‑on training and mentorship to develop essential care skills for our residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Interest in nursing needs of the aged and chronically ill.
• Passion for healthcare and desire to learn in LT Care.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage in training programs to gain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures
• Learn and apply fundamental nursing skills under supervision
• Assist nursing staff in providing daily care to residents
• Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and grooming
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well‑being of residents
