Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Principal Scientist (Clinical Director) to lead early clinical development of cardiovascular therapeutics, focusing on Phase 1/2 studies. You will drive clinical strategy for novel compounds from Preclinical Candidate to Proof-of-Concept, and shape biomarker integration across programs.

The role requires MD or MD/PhD with a strong translational track record and 10+ years in clinical medicine or early drug development.

• MD or MD/PhD with proven clinical research record.
• Biomedical research background.
• Strong communication skills and 10+ years in clinical medicine/translational research/early drug development.

Responsabilités

• Design and execute clinical strategies for novel compounds from Preclinical Candidate approval through Proof-of-Concept.
• Develop biomarker strategies and validate clinical platforms.
• Support target identification/validation.
• Collaborate across discovery, translational, and late-stage clinical teams.
• Provide clinical pharmacology input for worldwide regulatory filings.
• Communicate study results to governance teams.
