Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Health System at the Main Campus in Cleveland as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant (PCNA) on the J63 Cardiovascular Stepdown unit. You will work nights, 7:00 p.m.

to 7:30 a.m., providing basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and coordinating with team members to maintain a healing environment. The unit specializes in post-open heart, surgical and VAD patients, offering growth opportunities and access to education and skills development programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross, or obtained during hire.
• Nursing students must have BLS before hire.
• Military healthcare experience will be considered for the role.
• Preferred: STNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision (vital signs, ADLs, transfers, monitoring).
• Report abnormal findings to an RN and document changes.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly and participate in care coordination.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Nursing students: BLS prior to hire

Military healthcare experience (HM, 68W, 4N0X1) considered
