MultiCare Pulse Heart Institute is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist III to join the Cath Lab team. You will assist in diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

Requires Washington Radiologic Technologist certification or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist path, RCIS or plan to obtain, and current AHA/BLS/ACLS. Competitive pay, bonuses and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or enrolled in 2nd year of invasive cardiovascular program.
• RCIS or plan to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Current AHA, BLS and ACLS CPR certifications at time of hire.
• Compliance with MultiCare Cath Lab Orientation and safety requirements.
• Valid driving record meeting company standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP RN.
• Maintain a clean, safe procedure environment in the cath lab.
• Complete required Cath Lab documentation and operate specialty equipment.
• Support diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.

Position Summary

The Cardiovascular Technologist III is a crucial role on the MultiCare Pulse Heart Institute team, responsible for providing technical support during a variety of diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. In this role, you will ensure quality care, with a focus on the comfort and well-being of patient and family.

Responsibilities:

• You will perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Registered Nurse
• You will maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in assigned procedure room
• You will perform required Cath Lab specific documentation
• You will assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment

Requirements :

• Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification or as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or currently enrolled and in second year of an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist program
• RCIS or commitment to obtain within 6 months of employment
• Current AHA, BLS and ACLS CPR certifications at time of hire
• Note: All staff have the opportunity and are encouraged to use the Computer Based Cath Lab Orientation 12 week module program as a tool to become registry ready
• Proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $47.25 - $78.09 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
