Qualifications

  • Must be licensed by the State of Maryland Board of Physicians Quality Assurance as a Radiology Technologist.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current BLS/ACLS Certification required.

Work Location:

JHH, 600 N. Wolf Street, Baltimore, MD 21287

Position Summary:

Assist physicians in performing invasive procedures, coordinate care in an assigned room, and provide patient care. Responsible for optimizing team performance by participating as a member of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

Education:

Graduate of an approved AMA School of Radiologic Technology required. AA degree preferred.

Work Experience:

No direct cardiology experience required.

Required Licensure, Certification:

Must be licensed by the State of Maryland Board of Physicians Quality Assurance as a Radiology Technologist. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

CVRT I: Current BLS/ACLS Certification required within 1 year from the end of orientation date. Advanced certification encouraged. Must pass JHH Arrhythmia Course and Exam before recording independently.

CVRT II: Current BLS/ACLS Certification required. CI or CV registry encouraged, in Electrophysiology, RCES registry and HRS certification encouraged. Current PALS certification required if in pediatric cardiology. Must pass the JHH Arrhythmia Recognition exam annually.
