Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. in Baldwin, FL, seeks a part-time cardiovascular technologist to assist in diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision.

You will work with sophisticated equipment and support TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman, and other cath lab devices, ensuring patient safety and quality care. Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited cardiovascular tech or radiography program with cardiac experience.
• 2-3 years Cath Lab or EP Lab experience preferred.
• Must hold CVT or RTR, ACLS, and BLS; RCIS to be obtained within 6 months.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts; reside within 30 minutes of campus.

Job description

Role Overview: This position involves assisting in the preparation, performance, and completion of diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision. The role requires proficiency with advanced equipment such as TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman, PFO closure devices, atherectomy, thrombectomy, IVUS, FFR, iFR, IABP, and Impella.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing various angiographic procedures ensuring patient safety and adherence to hospital policies.
• Providing all aspects of patient care with a focus on safety guidelines.
• Supporting teamwork through effective communication and flexibility in duties.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Radiography program with cardiac experience.
• Preferred 2-3 years of Cath Lab or EP Lab experience; cardiac-focused education preferred.
• Current CVT or RTR credentials, ACLS, and BLS certifications required; RCIS certification must be obtained within six months.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
• Flexibility for varied hours and shifts, including on-call responsibilities.

Additional Details: This is a part-time, nonexempt role with scheduled 10-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Candidates should reside within 30 minutes of the campus.
