Job summary

Aura Health in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL seeks a part-time Cardiovascular Imaging Technician to assist in angiographic procedures under physician supervision, utilizing IVUS, FFR, iFR, and other advanced equipment. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and teamwork.

Applicants must graduate from a Cardiovascular Technology or Radiography program, hold CVT or RTR, ACLS and BLS, and obtain RCIS within six months. Prior Cath Lab or EP Lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Radiography program with cardiac experience.
• Current CVT or RTR credentials required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• RCIS certification to be obtained within six months.
• Cath Lab or EP Lab experience preferred; cardiac-focused education considered.

Role Overview: Provides assistance in performing diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision, utilizing advanced equipment such as TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman, PFO closure, atherectomy, thrombectomy, IVUS, FFR, iFR, IABP, and Impella. Ensures patient care aligns with hospital policies, follows safety guidelines, and promotes teamwork through effective communication and adaptability.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Radiography program with cardiac experience. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, efficiency, teamwork, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently. Current CVT or RTR credentials, ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory, with RCIS certification obtained within six months. Prior Cath Lab or EP Lab experience is preferred, but candidates with a cardiac-focused educational background are also considered.

Key Duties: Assists in all phases of angiographic procedures, maintains safety standards, and supports patient care. Flexibility in working hours and shifts is essential, including on-call responsibilities for weekends and holidays.
