Job summary

The Cardiovascular Technologist III at Pulse Heart Institute within MultiCare provides technical support during diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional cardiac procedures, focusing on patient comfort and safety. FTE: Per Diem .01, Day shift with 10-hour shifts and call requirements.

Float locations include Tacoma General, Auburn Medical Center, Capital Medical Center and Good Samaritan. The candidate will hold Washington Radiologic Technologist certification or be a Cardiovascular Invasive

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist approval
• RCIS or commitment to obtain within 6 months of employment
• Current AHA, BLS and ACLS CPR certifications at time of hire
• Ability to use Cath Lab equipment and document procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care under RN supervision in the Cath Lab/EP
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in the procedure room
• Complete Cath Lab documentation for procedures
• Assemble, disassemble and operate specialty equipment
