Job summary

Pulse Heart Institute in Tacoma is looking for a Cardiovascular Technologist I to provide essential technical support for various diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role focuses on ensuring quality care for patients and families while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

The ideal candidate will have a current Washington State certification, CPR certifications, and a commitment to obtaining RCIS within six months of employment. This position offers part-time hours with variable shifts.

Qualifications

• Certified as Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.
• Enrolled in a Cardiovascular Specialist program.
• CPR certifications at time of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the nurse.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the procedure room.
• Perform Cath Lab specific documentation.
• Assemble and operate specialty equipment.

Skills

Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification

Commitment to obtain RCIS

Current AHA, BLS and ACLS CPR certifications

Safe driving record

Education

Enrollment in second year of an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist program
