Position Summary

The Cardiovascular Technologist is a member of the Cardiac Cath/ Electrophysiology (EP) team, working alongside cardiologists and nurses to deliver patient care before, during, and after interventional/diagnostic cath lab and EP cases. The role involves functioning in all three roles (scrub, circulator, recorder) in various cases and operating equipment in the cath lab.

Qualifications

• Associates’ Degree in Health Science (cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or ultrasound) or equivalent experience, with certification required. Work experience may substitute education (2 years experience = 1 year of education).
• Radiology Technologist with current certification and registration, Florida State License accepted.
• Preferred: 1 year of cardiac cath/EP lab experience, RCIS, RCES, CI, CV, or VI certification.
• ACLS/PALS/BLS certification within one year of hire.

Shift & Salary

Full-Time, Day shift, 7a-5:30p, with weekends and call required.

Salary Range: $33.20 - $53.13/hour, commensurate with experience.
