Job Description:

The CV Invasive Specialist performs duties necessary for cardiac catheterization procedures at a technical and professional level, requiring some proctoring and supervision of technical detail. The Specialist performs a variety of technical procedures that require some independent judgment. The CV Invasive Specialist assumes responsibility and initiative for designated areas and procedures as required.

As a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist at Intermountain Health, you will support our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care. Responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures. Assisting physicians in radiological imaging, maintaining sterile conditions, and operating imaging equipment.
• Educating patients and families regarding procedures and expectations.
• Maintaining order and cleanliness of the unit and managing supplies.
• Completing documentation according to departmental standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Registered ARRT or RCIS within 18 months of hire, or Registered Respiratory Therapist with CV-specific certification.
• Current BLS-HCP certification.
• ACLS and Surgical Technologist License with DORA obtained within 3 months in Colorado.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree.
• Two years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to see, read, hear, communicate quickly, manipulate equipment, lift, assist with patient transport, and stand for extended periods.

Location:

Saint Joseph Hospital, Denver, Colorado.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week, hourly rate $34.06 - $52.55, based on experience.
