  • Full-time day shift position from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with occasional weekend call rotation.
  • Benefit-eligible position.

Job Description:

The Cardiovascular Technologist works directly with cardiologists, nurses, and staff during cardiac interventional, peripheral vascular, and electrophysiology procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, knowing inventory, assisting in procedures as a scrub, monitor, or circulator, and coordinating patient care services. The role includes on-call shifts requiring onsite reporting within 30 minutes.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Operate laboratory equipment according to guidelines, perform quality control, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist in procedures by preparing supplies, maintaining sterile environments, and understanding relevant anatomy and physiology.
  • Monitor patient conditions, record data accurately, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Protect staff and patients from injury, practice radiation safety, and communicate concerns to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited program in cardiovascular technology or related health science field, or meet criteria to sit for the RCIS or RCES exam.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in health science-related field.
  • At least 1 year of cardiovascular or radiology technologist experience.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Current RCIS or RCES certification.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, Red Cross, or in-house training within 60 days of hire.

Physical Demands:

  • Medium Work: lifting up to 32 lbs occasionally, 25 lbs frequently.

Pay Range: $37.67 to $51.63 per hour, based on experience, education, and other factors. Shift and weekend differentials may apply.
