Job summary

Florida Cardiovascular Partners Surgical Center in Port St. Lucie, FL is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to provide technical support during cardiovascular and vascular procedures, working with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

The role involves preparing patients and rooms, operating and maintaining cardiovascular equipment, assisting with hemodynamic monitoring, maintaining sterile technique, and documenting procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related program.
• Applicable Florida license, registration, or certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification or ability to obtain.
• Previous cardiovascular, cath lab, vascular, interventional, or surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiovascular and vascular procedures.
• Prepare patients, procedure rooms, equipment and supplies.
• Operate and maintain cardiovascular equipment.
• Assist with hemodynamic monitoring and procedural documentation.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards.
• Support patient safety and emergency procedures.
• Maintain equipment and procedural supplies.
