Overlake Medical Center in Renton, WA is hiring a Cardiovascular/Angio Technologist to assist Cardiologists and Radiologists in the Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology Lab. The role includes scrubbing, circulating and monitoring during invasive cardiovascular procedures and care for patients with pacemakers or defibrillators.

Qualifications

• AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program required.
• ARRT Registry (or registry eligible) and State Certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT) required, OR RCIS (or registry eligible) with State Certification as Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (IS) required; registry eligible must obtain registration within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• Two years of related clinical experience preferred.
• Previous cardiac cath lab/interventional radiology/electrophysiology experience preferred.
• 24 CME credits required bi-annually.
• Mandatory AIDS education.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cardiologists and Radiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology Lab.
• Scrub, circulate and monitor during invasive cardiovascular procedures.
