Job summary

Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist for a 40-hour-per-week staff position in San Antonio, Texas, with 8-hour shifts.

The CV Tech performs hemodynamic monitoring, assists the physician during procedures, trains Cardiovascular Technicians, and maintains required certifications (RCIS/RCES). Up to a $25,000 sign-on bonus based on experience; active BLS and ACLS within 60 days are required.

Qualifications

• Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
• AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
• Minimum education: Graduate of a certificate or degree granting program in health science, or equivalent education
• Minimum experience: 2 years of interventional Cath Lab or 2 years of Electrophysiology experience.
• Required certifications/licensure: RCIS or RCES
• Preferred certifications/licensure: LMRT
• REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):

• Works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. In addition trains Cardiovascular Technicians and other Cath Lab personnel.
