Job summary

Progeny HR Solutions LLC seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech) for a full-time role in Florida. The selected candidate will prepare, operate devices, and assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring.

The role requires 1 year of cath lab experience, Florida state radiologic technician registration, an associate degree in radiologic technology, BLS, ACLS (within 60/45 days as applicable), and

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous Specials, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience required.
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology
• ACLS must be obtained within 45 days of hire date
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) registry, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credential required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, prepares, operates equipment and assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures and special procedures; performs hemodynamic monitoring and other duties as assigned.
• Performs radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature to demonstrate cardiac and vascular patency in various anatomical parts.
• Recognizes the importance of supporting the team in general patient and family care.
• Supports general efficient function of the lab by assisting in transporting patients to or from the Lab.

• Under general supervision, makes preparation, operates equipment and assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures special procedures; performs hemodynamic monitoring and other duties as assigned.
• Performs radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature to demonstrate cardiac and vascular patency in a variety of anatomical parts.
• Recognizes the importance of supporting the team in general care of the patient and family member.
• Supports general efficient function of the lab by assisting in transporting patients to or from the Lab.
