Transfer and Probation Policies

Associates are eligible to apply for a lateral transfer after completing one (1) year of service in their current position, with exceptions for those with warnings or suspensions. Part-time associates who have completed their probationary period may move to full-time roles within their department, provided operational efficiency is maintained. Probation periods are three (3) months for full-time and four (4) months for part-time employees working more than 3/5 of the normal workweek.

Job Responsibilities

1. Receives patients at the clinic reception area and performs clerical duties.
2. Under supervision, conducts chemical analyses on blood samples and blood gases of cardiac catheterization patients.
3. Monitors EKG and pressure recordings during procedures and maintains related logs.
4. Prepares patients and operates hemodynamic and electrophysiology equipment during interventional and diagnostic procedures.
5. Continuously monitors vital signs, analyzes intracardiac electrograms, and reports results.
6. Performs patient care under supervision and maintains proper documentation.
7. Performs additional duties related to the operation of the cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Qualifications and Certifications

Preferred: RCIS, RCS, IBHRE certification at hire or within 2 years; Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist preferred.

Educational Requirements

High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
