Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. in Miami Beach, FL is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to join our established cardiovascular lab. The role involves preparing procedural rooms, assisting with femoral access, monitoring, catheter manipulation, and ensuring accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a current Radiologic Technologist license (or CI/VI RCIS/RCES/CCT), BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of CVL experience across multiple modalities.

Qualifications

• Current license as a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT CI/VI or RCIS/RCES/CCT credentialing.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year CVL experience; competency in multiple modalities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CVL rooms, stock supplies, and check emergency equipment.
• Assist with patient prep, monitor placement, ID verification, and procedure education.
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist with catheter insertion under fluoroscopy.
• Document hemodynamic data and ensure images transfer to network.
• Charge for supplies, ensure radiation safety, and assist in emergencies.
• Operate imaging equipment and manage procedure setup and equipment.

We welcome all healthcare professionals to join our thriving community and contribute to our pursuit for clinical excellence.**Department:****Job Description Summary:**## Position Responsibilities* Assures that the CVL procedural rooms are prepared to receive patients, ensuring room is stocked and all emergency equipment is checked.* Assists with preparing patients for procedure; connects to monitoring equipment, positions patient on table, verifies pt ID per hospital policy and educates patient on procedure to be performed.* Adheres to proper aseptic/sterile technique when prepping table, draping pt, performing skin prep for vascular or open access and donning sterile gown, gloves and mask.* Demonstrates ability to perform scub duties as directed by physician. Able to prepare equipment and assist with the insertion/manipulation of guidewires, catheters and other such equipment into the vasculature under fluoroscopy. Inject contrast manually or mechanically under the direction of the physician.* Demonstrates ability to perform monitoring duties such as accurately completing the procedural report, documenting all hemodynamic data and ensuring all images cross to the network.* Properly charges for supplies and procedures performed and completes data sheet for reconciliation.* Adheres to hospital policies regarding radiation safety.* Demonstrates competency in sheath removal and application of TR Band and Femostop.* Demonstrates ability to operate imaging equipment including movement of table and gantry, adjusting magnification, DSA, run-offs, measurements, etc.* Responds to call-backs within allotted time frame.* Assists in emergency situations.* Sets up and operates all ancillary procedural equipment.* Maintains current annual departmental competencies and licenses/certifications.* Competent in two or more modalities (cardiac, structural heart, EP, device implants, IR, NIR, CT, bedside procedures)## Qualifications* ### License/Registration/Certification + Current license as a Radiologic Technologist with or without the Cardiac-Interventional Radiography-RT (R)(CI) or Vascular-Interventional Radiography-RT( R)(VI) credentialing from the ARRT. Or credentialed by the CCI as a RCIS, RCES or a CCT. BLS/ACLS certification required.
