Job summary

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, seeks experienced cardiovascular technologists to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. The role requires assisting physicians during procedures and maintaining lab readiness.

Shift: Full-time Day Shift, 10-hour shifts with on-call/holidays/weekends as needed. We offer competitive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• Completion of a certified vascular technician program preferred.
• AHA ACLS and BLS certification required.
• ARRT and/or RCIS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac cath lab procedures.
• Analyze hemodynamics and EKG during procedures.
• Remove sheaths and maintain sterile technique to prepare the lab.
• First assist and scrub into procedures as needed.
• Support peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Shift: Full-time Day Shift, 10hr shifts, Occasional on call/holidays/weekends, based on department needs

The Cardiovascular Technologist will be responsible for assisting the Physician during procedures, analyzes hemodynamics and EKG, removes sheaths, and uses sterile technique to set up laboratory.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• First assist supporting physicians at procedure table for cardiac caths diagnostic and intervention

• Ability to scrub into procedures

• Peripheral procedures diagnostic and interventions

• Pace maker insertions

Requirements

• Associates degree required. Completion of a certified vascular technician program preferred.

• AHA ACLS and BLS

• ARRT and/or RCIS required
