Job Summary and Qualifications

The cardiovascular technologist assists in all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including scrubbing, circulating, recording, and monitoring patient status to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Two years of experience in a licensed field and one year in a cardiac cath lab preferred.
• ARRT registered or RCIS certification within 3 years of hire, unless already a Rad Technologist with ARRT.
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
