Job summary

University Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Technician to provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular department and to serve as a scrub person during Cath Lab procedures. The role includes hemodynamic monitoring and assisting with room setup and equipment preparation under physician and RN supervision.

Qualifications include a cardiovascular tech program or internship, 2+ years in a cath lab, and BLS certification. CVT/RCVT certifications are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or completion of the Cardiovascular Technologist Internship in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
• Experience must include: Cardiac hemodynamic and physiologic monitoring.
• Providing first-line sterile assistance during diagnostic and/or interventional procedures.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification.

About the Role

Compensation (NJ Job Transparency Law)

The expected hourly range for this position is TT/2550:$37.55 - $39.19 per hour, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
