Job summary

The role requires current BLS/CPR certification, knowledge of EKG patterns, and a strong cardiac background. You will collaborate with the heart center team to deliver safe, effective patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current CPR certification (BCLS) is required.
• Certification from Nurse Aid or Unit Secretary course is required.
• Previous experience with transcribing orders and medical terminology preferred.
• Cardiac/EKG knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic examinations and therapeutic interventions of the heart and blood vessels as directed.
• Review patient history and clinical data to support care decisions.
• Input orders and assist with room setup and supply management.
• Collaborate with cardiovascular team to ensure timely patient care.
• Maintain patient privacy and safety during procedures.
