Job summary

Virtua Health in Sewell, NJ, seeks a Cardiac Monitor Technician to coordinate, apply and interpret monitors for patients in a full-time role on-site. You will scan and interpret 24 hr Holter monitors, event recorders and blood pressure monitors and route results to the physician promptly.

You will also order supplies for Echo, Vascular and Holter departments, and oversee scanner repairs and preventive maintenance, contributing to high-quality cardiac care across our health system.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cardiac arrhythmias and heart blocks.
• Above average PC skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Apply, remove, scan and interpret 24 hr Holter monitors, event recorders and 24 hr Blood Pressure monitors.
• Task results to the appropriate physician, bring all critical results to a physician immediately.
• Order all supplies for Echo, Vascular and Holter departments.
• Oversee repair of scanners and recorders, coordinate preventive maintenance for all Holters, event recorders and blood pressure monitors.

The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
