Job summary

UnityPoint Health-Meriter is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to support complex invasive cardiovascular procedures. You will provide patient care and procedural provider support while collecting physiologic data with diverse diagnostic and interventional equipment.

The role requires advanced technical skills in cardiac, electrophysiology, nephrology, and vascular laboratories, with a focus on sterility, safety, and excellent teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program or ARRT-registered Radiologic Technology Program
• Minimum 2 years of related clinical experience
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered

Shift:Days with evening/weekend/holiday call rotation (60-minute response time)
The Cardiovascular Technologist provides patient care and procedural provider support during complex invasivecardiovascular procedures. The Cardiovascular Technologist participates in the gathering of physiologic data utilizing avaried array of diagnostic and interventional equipment that requires advanced technical skills and knowledge in thecardiac, electrophysiology, nephrology, and vascular laboratories.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program OR Graduate of an accredited Registered Radiologic Technology Program and registered by TheAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technology
• Minimum of2 Years of Experience inarelated clinical(e.g., Interventional RadiologyTechnologist, Exercise Physiologist, Paramedic)with appropriate associated degree
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the above qualifications.

License/Certification:

• BLS current or completed within three (3) months of hire date.
• ACLS completed within one (1) year of hire date.

Experience:

• Up to one (1) year cardiovascular, electrophysiology, vascular, or interventional lab experience OR 2 years of related clincial experience in related field of study.

• Advanced arrhythmia and hemodynamic skills
