Tyler Regional Hospital, affiliated with the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, seeks a Cardiovascular Surgeon to join its clinical faculty and Level 1 Trauma Center in East Texas.

The role offers base salary with wRVU production incentive, CME allowance, relocation support, paid malpractice, and visa options while collaborating with two surgeons, several NPs, and support staff in a high-volume, technologically advanced center.

Qualifications

• ABS board certification or eligibility as Cardiovascular Surgeon
• Surgical Fellowship Training in Cardiovascular Surgery
• Experienced and graduating Cardiovascular Surgery Physicians are encouraged to apply

Responsabilités

• Full-Time Employment (1.0 FTE); Academic, Inpatient/Outpatient
• Expected Open Heart Cases: 600 per year
• Join a team of 2 Cardiovascular Surgeons, 4-6 Nurse Practitioners, and support staff
• 1st Assist for vein harvesting available
• Level 1 Trauma Center serving the East Texas region
• On-Site Heart Valve Center (MitraClip, TAVR, valve replacement) with 9 cardiologists
• Referrals coming from cath lab and valve center
• Smart Technology: Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe to automate documentation and reduce administrative burden
