Job summary

Emory Healthcare in Georgia seeks an RN Clinician for the Cardiovascular Step Down department. This role delivers nursing care using the Synergy Model, supports colleagues, and serves as a resource to patients and families. It involves coordinating care, applying evidence-based practice, and contributing to continuous improvement.

The RN will demonstrate clinical expertise, participate in oriented staff, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN with 12 months nursing experience in the past five years, or ADN with 2 years experience.
• Active Georgia RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS may be required for certain departments.
• If completing virtual care, active compact/multistate license within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care using the nursing process.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Document care accurately in electronic and physical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Demonstrate leadership duties; serve as Charge Nurse when assigned.
• Mentor staff and orient students in the absence of a designated preceptor.
• Identify learning needs and provide appropriate resources.
• Apply the AACN Synergy Model for Care in practice.
